D.C. Day 1: Adventure

The Abshire Fellows trip is officially underway…we arrived in Washington without a hitch (thanks, Delta!) and after a quick cab ride from Reagan International we settled into Lafayette Hall on the campus of GWU.  The weather is very pleasant — and the students even more so.  We had dinner at Bertucci’s in the Foggy Bottom area amid lots of chatter about the exciting things coming up this week.  We’ll be at Dr. Abshire’s office bright & early Monday and later we will tour the Capitol…lots of info. and more photos to come!

    Hey folks… this is waaaay cool! Reminder… I’m leaving here Wednesday morning early and will stay in Fredericksburg, VA that evening and arrivein D.C. Thursday afternoon. If you need anything brought up, get it to me before I leave Baylor on Tuesday afternoon.
